Brisbane guitarist and powerhouse vocalist, Dana Gehrman channels the warm, sunlit spirit of 70s West Coast music into a sound that’s unmistakably her own. With vintage swagger, sharp songwriting and a soul-drenched voice that commands attention, she blends roots-rock, blues and soul into a vibrant modern style that honours the greats while forging a fresh, personal path.
Her debut album Find A Way firmly established her as one of Australia’s most compelling new artists, and she delivered again with 2023’s Down In Hollywood—a record that earned her glowing four-star acclaim (Rhythms Magazine) and cemented her reputation as a performer with grit, groove and heart. The creative momentum of winning the 2025 Carol Lloyd Award, sees Gehrman releasing and touring new music in 2026/27 with her new EP of original songs, Ocean Blue.
A seasoned road warrior, Gehrman has toured alongside icons like Tim Rogers (You Am I), Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything) and Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), and has shared stages with a powerhouse lineup of international and domestic heavy-hitters including Charlie Musselwhite (USA), Mike Stern (USA), Walter Trout (USA), Eric Gales (USA), The Teskey Brothers, Russell Morris, Charlie Owen (Tex, Don & Charlie), Wagons, Frazey Ford (CAN) and Mia Dyson, among others.
